Our most recent project was the F/V Cape St. Elias of King Cove Alaska, owned by Andrew and Tom Manos. This 58' X 18' vessel arrived in Astoria on September 3rd, 2012 and was hauled out of the Columbia River on September 4th, 2012 to begin renovation. The renovation included sponsoning to 26' in width, and a new whaleback design with new breakwater in front of the existing tophouse. In addition, the lower house was entirely removed and expanded into the new whaleback space and all new interior was installed.
On May 5, 2013 F/V Cape St. Elias was launched into the Columbia River at Tongue Point. Below is a slideshow showing before, during, and after photos of the renovation. Click on the photos to see captions.
